SECOND AT CANEY

John barely got the car back together for Saturday night's race at Caney Valley Speedway. Luckily, the night started with the running of 3 rain out features from 2 weeks ago that we were not a part of. In the heat race John started 6th and raced up to finish 2nd. With the passing point system John would start the feature on the outside of row 2. Polesitter Ryan Whitworth took the lead in the beginning of the race. Justin Folk in second from the outside pole and John settled into third position. About half way through the race Justin took the lead from Ryan and John followed suit. John set his sights on Justin with the remainder of laps, but could never make the pass. Justin took the win, John 2nd and Garry Langworthy in 3rd.

John will be back at Humboldt Speedway on Friday, July 17 and Caney on Saturday. Hope to see you there!
