FLIPPED THE MINI SPRINT!

John traveled back to Caney, KS on Father's Day to try his racing ability at a different level.  He drove mini sprint car owed by Ryan Truitt.  In the heat race he started 2nd and finished 7th.  Not what he is used to doing, but keep in mind these cars drive completely different than a modified.  In the A feature he started 18th.  He was racing through the field and on the last lap he was passing for 7th!  He then hit the implement tire and flipped six times getting about 20 feet into the air.  He is fine and said apart from the flipping part he really thought it was fun!

 

John will be back at Lakeside Speedway on Friday and Saturday is still undecided.  Check back to find out where John will be!
