THIRD AT CANEY

You almost never want to start on the pole of the heat race when the feature is lined up by passing points.  That is where John started Saturday night at Caney.  In the third heat, John started on the pole and lead every lap to win the race.  Number 6, Justin Folk started deep the first heat and took the win to capture the pole position in the feature.  Number 39, Gary Langworthy won the second heat race from the front row outside and he was able to start the feature in that same position.  That is the way they started and finished the race.  Gary was able to charge up beside Justin throughout the race on the top of the track, but could never make the pass.

John will be back racing at Humboldt Speedway on Friday night!  Hope to see you there!
