ANOTHER TOP FIVE AT HUMBOLDT!

With the early morning storm that moved through the area, dumping between 3-6 inches of rain, no one believed that racing at Humboldt Speedway would be possible.  But we did!  John finally got the chance to take his brand new Hughes Chassis to the track and shake it down.  In the heat race he started on the back row and made his way up to 3rd, without so much as a scratch on it!  In the  A feature, he redrew 7th which put him starting on the inside of row 4.  The early part of the race saw many cautions, and John had jumped into 4th.  On one restart John was passed on both sides and slid back to 6th.  As the race wore on and the cautions came to an end, John passed Ryan Whitworth at the line and settled for a 5th place finish.

Still the car looks just as good as it did when it rolled out of the trailer!
