John started on the 2nd row of the 3rd heat race. The track was heavy and wet and there wasn't much passing. He finished 2nd. The top 5 cars transferred to the A. In the A John started 7th row inside. Coming out of turn 2 on lap 2 the front cars had a BIG wreck. John avoided it and on the restart was up to 5th with only one lap down. Bubba Harvey had the lead and was pulling away from the pack. On lap 9 John found himself in second but could barely see the leader because he was about a half a track ahead. John started running him down, but then the caution flag flew and the lead Bubba gained over the field was gone. On the restart John was on Bubba's tail. It took a couple of laps, but John flew by the #3B and took the lead on lap 17. John dominated the field for about 4 laps until the MSD box failed and he lost power. John will be heading to Caney Valley Speedway for the remainder of the weekend. Saturday night pays $700 to win and Sunday night pays $1000. Hope to see you there!
