John started on the pole of the 3 heat race out of 5. He won it by about a half of a straightaway. The A feature was lined up by passing points and by starting on the pole John didn't have a chance to earn any passing points. He would start the A feature on the fourth row outside. The race went 20 laps with no cautions. At the beginning of the race John got held up behind Justin Rexwinkle who started right in front of him. This allowed Dustin Boney to get by John. John finally made it around Justin and started moving up through the pack. The race was too short however to allow John to make it up further than 4th. Johnny Bone Jr. took home the win, Justin Folk was second, Dustin Boney third and polesitter Scott Daniels rounded out the top 5.

John will continue his 4 day swing at the Belleville Highbanks on Friday night. Hope to see you there!
