HUMBOLDT SPEEDWAY

With Lakeside Speedway canceling their races due to rain, John traveled north only 8 miles to race at Humboldt Speedway.  There were 25 modifieds.  John started 8th in the first heat race.  He finished 3rd.  Using the passing point system John started 8th in the feature as well.  On the first lap John looked to be fast, working his way through the pack.  On the second lap, going into turn one, the car in front of John spun out.  With nowhere to go John hit the car and then another car ran into the back of him.  On the restart John was in 4th.  He stayed there for awhile until he passed 81J, Danny Charles for third.  That was the best he could do with the car he had left.  He rode out the rest of the race (which went green) with Johnny Bone Jr. in first and Jess Folk Jr. in second.  John will be racing at Lakeside Speedway on Sunday, April 27th, hope to see you there!
