Wheatland, MO $1500 to win

 

John headed to Lucas Oil Speedway for the first time Saturday night.  78 modifieds were there to compete for the $1500 top prize.  John started 10th in his heat race and finished 2nd.  They took the top 3 to the A feature.  John started 11th in the A and made it up to 3rd by halfway.  Jeremy Payne and Terry Phillips had taken over the top 2 spots and had quite a lead on the field.  John set his sights on them and then the yellow flag flew.  On the restart John went into turn one and the car hit a hole on the track and turned right.  The yellow flag came out again and he had to restart from the tail (20th).  John managed to make it back to 10th.  John will be racing at Lakeside Speedway on Sunday.  Hope to see you there!
