47 modifieds were wanting to get their hands on the top prize in Wheatland, MO on Saturday.  John started 5th in the first of five heat races.  He ended up 2nd after a caution filled race.  That put him 9th in passing points for the night.  At the beginning of the race John was running about 7th.  As the green laps keep clicking off he got in a rhythm and starting passing some cars.  With only 5 laps to go he found himself in second, but the leader was way out on the field.  He starting reeling him in, but ran out of laps.
