23 USRA modifieds traveled to Warrensburg, MO to try their luck at the $1,000 to win weekly show.  John started 6th (dead last) in the 3rd heat race out of four.  On the start the car in front of him clipped the wall and almost caused a big wreck.  John got on the brakes to avoid an accident, everyone kept going and John was in last.  Later, coming out of four trying to pass for 4th John hit a rut and almost spun.  He fell back again.  He ended up finishinng 5th. 

In the A feature John started 17th.  It would be a long way to go, but with a few yellow flags John thought the car was good enough to get to the front.  He ran a great race, but the only yellow came with only 3 laps to go.  He finished 8th. 66T of Tyler Schmidt took the win.  1K of Tim Karrick was 2nd, 16s of Matt Johnson third, 03 of Jason Bodenhamer and 75 Gunner Martin were the top 5.
