16 modifieds were at Humboldt Speedway Friday night.  John started on the pole of the first heat race and never looked back.  In the feature he also started on the pole and looked like he was ready for his first win of the season when the yellow flag flew.  On the restart he got a tire knocked down and had to pit.  He restarted in the back and was able to finish 9th with only a handful of laps left.

13 Bmods raced also Friday night.  Dylan started on the outside front row of the first heat race.  On the first start he took the lead and looked good until a couple cars in the back got tangled up and there was a complete restart.  This time Dylan settled into second place for about 5 laps and then took the lead!  He was doing good until he got a little out of shape and the 2nd and 3rd place cars made it 3-wide for the lead.  Dylan ended up getting passed and running 3rd, but spun in turn 3 with only a lap and a half to go.

He was unable to make it out for the feature because the fuel pump messed up.

John will be racing at Outlaw Speedway in Muskogee, OK on Sunday.  Hope to see you there!
