22 modifieds performed for a huge crowd at "Jam the Stands Night" at Humboldt Speedway. John started on the pole of the second heat race. He won by a straight away! In the A John fought a miss set up on the car to victory lane. He fell back to third early in the race. As only a handful of laps remained he found himself in second and running down the polesitter #52 of Ryan McAnich. With five to go John had the lead, with three to go Ryan was first to the flag stand. It was a fight to the end, but John was able to prevail, scoring five wins in a row at Humboldt Speedway and eight total at the track. John will be continuing his USRA action at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO on Saturday. Hope to see you there!
Allen tops huge night at Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Kan. -- It was Fan Appreciation Night at the Humboldt Speedway Friday. Fans were admitted to the stands free for the donation of a non-perishable food item to the Humboldt Ministerial Alliance Food Bank or a monetary donation. Fans responded by filling three trucks with food and donating over $800 in cash. The stands were full, the place was rockin’ and fans saw some of the best action to date this year.
In the USRA Modified feature, it was John Allen once again, although this week the defending track champ had to track down and pass the seriously fast Ryan McAninch in order to clinch the win.
Ever-resilient Jess Folk Jr., who has had a troubled season, recorded the third spot.
Travis Smith and Scott Daniels rounded out the top 5.
