WHEATLAND, MO

On Friday night the modifieds ran heat races to qualify for the $1,000 to win race on Saturday night.  The top 16 in passing points were locked into Saturday's A feature and the top 6 would run a scramble. 

John started 4th in his heat race.  On the start the car in front of John did not go and it screwed up the whole row.  John slipped back to about 5th, but made it back up to finish 3rd.  The car was good, just couldn't get there.  He ended up 16th in passing points and barely made it into the A for Saturday's race.
