17 modifieds made the trip over to Humboldt, KS Friday night for the next to last points race of the season. John started 6th in the first heat race and was able to make it up to finish 3rd. The A feature would show the same story. John started 6th in the 25 lap race and would see no yellow flags. He made it up to 3rd by lap 11, but the top two cars had such a lead by that time that he could not run them down.
Weather permitting John will be racing in Wheatland, MO on Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway. Hope to see you there!
