42 modifieds invaded the Highbanks of Salina, OK. John started 6th in the first heat race and only managed to make it up to finish 5th. That put him on the second row outside of the second B feature. The top 7 finishers would transfer to the A feature. John finished 2nd!

In the A feature John started outside row 8. He was good on the start and was up to 13th after only two laps. As the race continued John got out of the slick and was passed, he quickly fell back to about 18th. He went to work from then on and was able to pass back up to finish 13th. This was John's best finish with the USMTS for awhile.

John will be back at Humboldt Speedway on Friday, hope to see you there!!
