RUNNER UP AT NEVADA SPEEDWAY

12 modifieds were on hand Saturday night in Nevada, MO.  John started 8th in his heat race.  After some contact on the first lap he still managed to finish 2nd in his heat race.

In the A feature he started 2nd row inside.  He quickly took the lead.  Towards in the end of the race there were a couple of yellow flags.  John had ran the bottom all night long, but the #40 of Jesse Willard kept running high hoping it would come in so he could make the pass for the win.  Willard got his wish as the bottom went away at the end of the race, the top came in and John had to settle for yet another second place finish.

John will be racing Tues, July 3rd in Humboldt for $2,000 to win, then on to Lakeside Speedway in KC, KS on Friday night and then back to Nevada, MO for $1,500 to win on Saturday.  Hope to see you somewhere!!
