5 Weeks Of Racing 5 Different WinnersIn 5 weeks of Racing there has been 5 Different Modified Winner's. 5 Different Factory Winner's, Different winner's weekly in B-Mod and Pure Stock. Now that is some competitive racing.
John Rossen in Factory Stock was hot on the track for a Sunday afternoon, winning the first heat race and putting him 2nd spot for the main event. Rosson took over the lead in lap four and never looked back to take home the hard ware and cash. Scott Stuart finished second, while Colton Bunn starting 3rd finished in third. Matt Weintz a fan favorite picked up the fourth spot and Shawn Hendren fifth.
Levi McGowen won the first B-Mod heat with two laps to go putting him on the pole for the feature. Levi led all 16 laps and crossed the finish line first. Jerry Kustanborter driving the purple and white #64 started in 10th position and worked his way up for the second spot. Scott Collins put on a good show staying with the leader's all the way to finish third. Jim Daniels and Brad Smith rounded out the top 5.
The new Pure Stock class is gaining cars and tallent this season with Roger Oswald of Chanute claiming his second feature win. Floyd Taggart the #83 fell into second while Jeremy Willard was third. Mike Aiello and Paul Long picked up fourth and fifth.
Dan Daniels, Brian Bolin and John Allen put on a heck of a show in the Modified division, with each winning there heat races putting them in the first three spots in the Main A.
Dan Daniels of Humboldt led all 20 laps to claim the victory while John Allen made his move with two laps to go to finish second. Brian Bolin settled for third spot, while Justin Folk followed close behind for fourth. Chris Deaton of Oklahoma ran a strong fifth finish.
Plans are to race this friday night with a regular show and to beat out mother nature for the win. If friday races lose again look for another Sunday afternoon show. We got the race fever.
