STARTED 3RD
FINISHED 7TH
John started the 3rd heat race on the front row outside. He lead every lap and took the heat race win. In the A feature John started 2nd row inside. Within the first five laps John made his way up to second and was starting to run down the leader. Right about that time the yellow flag flew and on the restart John was shuffled back to 3rd and then 4th. At that point the car didn't look as strong and it was one of those races that you just wanted to be over because you knew it wasn't going to get any better and the cars behind you were coming fast. Then, with about five laps to go another yellow flag flew. John restarted in fourth, but couldn't hold on and finished seventh.
Next weekend John will be racing at Humboldt Speedway on Friday and Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday, hope to see you there!!
