John had his work cut out for him as he started dead last in the second heat of the night. Only the top 5 cars would transfer to the A feature and there was little to no passing due to the muddy track conditions. In the heat John finished 6th and had to run the B feature. He won the B by several car lengths and transferred to the A. In the A he started 11th row inside. After completing 4 laps John was up to 14th! On lap 17 John had driven the car up to 10th! Then when the caution came out with only 4 laps to go, John restarted in 7th. He managed to pass one more car to finish 6th. Mark Schafman took the win and Danny Charles took the championship.
John will back to some USRA racing at Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday, hope to see you there!
