SHORT NIGHT FOR JOHN ALLEN RACING AT LA

64 modifieds, 7 heat races and a whole lot of good racing....that we only got to watch.  John looked great in hot laps and had to start 8th out of 9 cars in the very last heat race.  As the 7th heat race took the green flag John had a long ways to go, but was on his way.  The car passed several cars in the first turn and was up to 5th or 6th going into turn #3.  Then the motor expired and John rolled off the track.  With no spare in the trailer, and very little time before the Bs, John elected to watch the races from the stands and try again Wednesday.
