DNF AT HUMBOLDT

John started outside row two in the first heat race of the night.  He finished second to his old orange race car driven by Brian Bolin.  In the feature Bolin started on the pole with Justin Folk on the outside front row.  John started second row inside with Jes Folk Jr on the the outside.  The first start was a good one for us, John was in second on the back straightaway and took the lead at the flag stand, only to have the yellow flag fly with several cars making contact in turns three and four.  On the restart John was running fourth until about lap four when he passed Brian Bolin for third.  He started to run down first place Justin Folk and second place Jess Jr. until about lap 10 when an exhaust valve stuck in the motor.  John pulled in and suffered a DNF for the night.

 

John will be racing at Caney Valley Speedway Saturday night.  Hope to see you there!
