John traveled to Belleville to his favorite track of all time Sunday night to race with the NCRA. 2007 two trips to Belleville and 2 wins, 2008 3 trips to Belleville and 3 wins, 2009 ... you get the picture. John started the heat race on the inside of row 3. By the first lap he had the lead and was driving off. He won the heat race and grabbed the most passing points to gain the pole for the feature. In the feature race the start was a little shaky. The first two attempts the yellow flag flew before the first lap was completed. But the third time was a charm and John grabbed the lead from outside front row started Jon Thompson on lap 3. Then it was bye bye birdie as his lead grew to an entire straight away. He took the win, with Thompson 2nd, Klima 3rd, and Brian Powers 4th.

John will be back at Humboldt on Friday, July 10 and Caney on Saturday. Hope to see you there!

Allen Sets Winning Pace at Belleville

BELLEVILLE, Kan. (July 5, 2009) - Former O'Reilly NCRA Modified Series champion John Allen led the way around the Belleville Highbanks on Sunday evening winning the main event over a 28-car field.

The three-time NCRA champion beat Jon Thompson to the checkered for his thirteenth career win. Darrick Klima, Brian Powers and Dustin Huehl rounded out the top five.

Dan Daniels took over the series points lead with a seventh place finish. Five-time champion Brian Franz fell out of the points lead with his 20th place finish.
