John started 7th in the final heat race and finished 2nd.  After calculating passing points he would start 2nd row inside for the A feature.  The track was taking rubber on the top and everyone headed that way.  John lined up in 4th and rode for awhile up top.  At about half way the car had flames coming out from under the hood and John pulled in.

 

If we can get everything back together and the rain holds off we will be racing at Humboldt Speedway tonight.  Hope to see you there!
