CANEY, KS $1000 TO WIN

ENGINE FAILURE

 

John stayed home Friday night and then ventured out on Saturday to race at Caney Valley Speedway for the $1,000 to win special.  There were four heats of six cars and Kenton drew tailback of the 6th heat for John.  Not the best way to start the heads up race.  John finished 3rd behind Justin Folk and Johnny Bone Jr.  In the feature John started 6th row outside.  John worked his way through traffic and had some yellows to help out and made it up to 4th before the halfway point of the race.  Then smoke started coming out of the engine and John pulled in.  The motor was done.  John is planning to race in Mayetta, KS next weekend, October 17 and 18th.  Hope to see you there!
