RUNNER UP FOR KENTON AT HUMBOLDT

Kenton started on the front row outisde of the first heat race, which had all the fast cars in it!  He ended up 3rd, behind winner Jackie Dalton #21, and 2nd place finisher Jon Sheets #8s. That finish put him starting the A feature on the 4th row inside.  Early in the race Jon Sheets and Matthew Kay (inside row one and two starters) got together and had to go to the back.  Kenton found himself in 5th!  He quickly made it up to 3rd and on the last caution he was right behind leader Jackie Dalton.  Kenton and Jackie pulled away from the pack, but Kenton was never able to make a real charge for the win.  He settled for 2nd as Jackie claimed the win his first time at Humboldt Speedway!  Jon Sheets made it back up to finish 3rd and Brian McGowen 4h. Kenton will be racing at Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday!  Hope to see you there!
