Kenton started 5th (last) in his heat race and finished 3rd.  That put him starting the A feature on the inside of the 3rd row.  The first half of the 20-lap race saw Dillon McCowan in the #8 soar to the lead, Tyler Kidwell #54 trailing in second and a 3-wide race between the #22 of Brian Swan, #23JR of Bryce Weldon and Kenton.  The three cars battled back and forth for 3rd.  About lap 8 Kenton hit a rut in turn two and got completely sideways.  The 22 and the 23JR zoomed ahead of the 98K.  Then, on lap 11 the yellow flag flew.  The cars were bunch back up and Kenton had another chance to pass some cars.  He was trying to do just that when he got too low and hit an implement tire.  His front right was trash and he finished 5th.  He will be back at Humboldt on Friday, June 12.  Hope to see you there!
