John started on 9th in the first heat race.  The top five would transfer to the A.  On lap 6 he passed two cars and landed in 5th position.  On lap 7 the yellow flag flew for a crash on the track, the checkered flag was also thrown.  We barely made the A, or so we thought.  We were told by the "powers that be" that John would start on the pole of the B feature.  Anyway, John tried something different, went out for the B and ran 3rd.  The top 4 transfered to the A.  John started the A 23rd.  By lap 10 he had found a high line around the track and had moved up to 9th.  Then the motor started vibrating so John shut it off and headed for the pits. 

 

John will be racing at the Hutchinson Fairgrounds on Sunday.  Hope to see you there!
