FIRST WIN OF 2020!

FIRST WIN OF 2020!

STARTED 1ST

FINISHED FIRST!

22 B-MODS

Kenton started 3rd in the first heat race.  He finished 2nd, but the winner was DQed after failing post race tech.  Kenton was awarded the win and that put him on the pole of the feature!  He took the lead and ended up leading every lap!  There were a couple of restarts that didn't go well for him, but both times the yellow flag flew and Kenton was able to keep the lead.  With only 3 laps to go our good friend and champion racer, Jeremy Chambers had climbed his way to second!  Kenton had a great restart that time and was able to hold Jeremy off for the win! Kenton will be racing at Humboldt Speedway on Friday!  Hope to see you there!

Race fans were treated to a night of nail-biting racing Thursday evening as the USMTS invaded 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas, along with the USRA-B Mods.

Kenton Allen of Chanute started on the pole in the feature and fought off all comers for the first 17 laps, putting a straightaway between himself and the field.

Caution flew on lap 17, bringing Baldwin City's Jeremy Chambers to the back bumper of the leader for a late-race restart.

Allen powered away from the field on the restart and drove to his first feature win at 81 Speedway.

Chambers settled for second with Enid, Oklahoma’s Dustin Johnson; Allen Owen Jr. of Pocola, Oklahoma; and Mike Striegel of Wheatland, Missouri, completing the top five.

Heat race wins went to Allen, Johnson and Owen.
