Humboldt Speedway

With all of the moving and cleaning we had to do this week we didn't feel prepared enough to travel to Enid.  We decided to stay close to home and race in Humboldt, gearing up for Monday's race. 

John started on the back of the 2nd heat race.  He worked his way up to third.  In the feature he started inside row 4.  After 3 starts that ended up with a yellow before the first lap was made they finally got the race underway.  John looked good and was able to pass cars anywhere on the racetrack.  But he struggled with the brakes the entire night and ended up finishing third.

John will be racing at Caney Valley Speedway, season opener on Saturday.  Hope to see you there!
