HUTCHINSON, KS FAIRGROUNDS

On Friday we traveled to Hutchinson to compete in the nationals. Friday night would be heat races for the modifieds and Saturday a pole dash and A feature were scheduled. During the 3rd group of modified heat races the rains came. We were supposed to start racing at 7pm and by the time the track was packed back in it was almost 10pm. Honestly, the race should have been cancelled the track was still a mess.
John started 7th in the first heat race. He finished 3rd right at the line. With the passing points rules this put him 4th in passing points. Top 10 would redraw for position in the dash on Saturday.
