LUCAS OIL SPEEDWAY, DAY 2

With all the rain that came through Missouri Saturday, Lucas Oil Speedway was forced to postpone the races scheduled for Saturday night for Sunday afternoon.  On Sunday all the modifieds used the heat race finish from Friday night to line everyone up in a B feature.  There were 3 B features and the top 8 transferred to the A.  John started 6th in the first B feature.  The track was really one lane on the bottom and everyone knew there would there would be little passing.  On the first lap #25 of Rex Merritt drove up beside John and ran down the length of the back stretch up against John's left side.  When John turned to go into turn #3 Rex didn't and drove over John's hood.  The 18 lap race ended early for us and John recorded another DNF for the 2008 season.
