John started 6th in the 2nd heat race.  He was able to race up to finish 2nd.  That put him 2nd in passing points.  He took the lead on lap 2 and never looked back.  Riley Whitworth was 2nd, Shane Collins 3rd, Kenton Allen 4th and Brain McGowen rounded out the top 5.
