Kenton again drew the last row of the last heat race.  He was able to finish 3rd.  In the feature he started 5th row outside.  He was looking good until on lap 3 he went to make a move and two cars got together in front of him and another car hit him from behind.  He had major damage to the body.  A track worker removed his hood and his left quarter panel was sticking out.  He was able to continue, but there was another crash on the restart and a car was upside down.  Kenton pulled into the infield and the crew changed a flat tire.  He was able to restart the race, but had to go to the rear.  He restarted 20th, they cut the race to 15 laps and he finished 12th.
