LAST RACE AT HUMBOLDT

Kenton started and finished 6th in his heat race.  That put him starting 5th in the B feature, but there were so many cars that could not continue, he started on the pole.  He led the first 5 laps, had a great lead and the yellow flag flew.  On the restart he spun on his own in turn 2 and had to restart tailback.  Only the top 4 would transfer to the A and he finished 4th.  In the A he did what he could and ended up 14th.

John's father, Wendell drove in the mechanics race!  He pretty much ran the car in the back, but I'm sure he had a blast doing it!
