FINISHED FIRST!!
18 MODS. John started inside row 2 of the second heat race. He took the win! That gave him the most passing points for the night. He started the race on the pole. The race was full of yellow flags. On the first start John jumped out to a great lead, but the flagman called it back. On the second attempt the 9d8 of Paden Phillips literally knocked the wall down! As they went in turn one Paden's steering shaft broke and he went right instead of left knocking down one of the blocks in the wall between one and two. Third time's a charm as they say and the race was on. This time the 7j of Justin Johnson took the lead on the start. John followed close behind waiting to make his move. It didn't take long before John jumped into the lead! He led the rest of the race, but there were about four more cautions and the 7j was right on his bumper the entire time waiting for just one mistake.
Allen Soars To Victory At Humboldt
Humboldt, KS – Humboldt Speedway officials dodged Mother Nature once again and put on another great race at the Hummer Friday night. John Allen held off a strong field of competitors to win the USRA Modified Feature, it was Jake Richards getting the best of Lucas Isaacs and Tyler Kidwell to take the win in the USRA B Mod main, Mike Churning raced his way to the win in the Pure Stock Feature, Tyler Davis won the Sport Compact Feature and it was Derek Wilson logging the big win in the Enduro main as he held off Jeremy Wilson and Scott Stuart.
