15 modifieds checked in at The Hummer on Friday night. John started 4th in the second heat race and took the win by about a straightaway. In the feature he started on the pole since he had the most passing points of the night. The 8s of Jon Sheets started right beside him. The first five laps they were side by side. John was running on the bottom and Jon was on the top. As the laps continued on John got the lead, took to the high side and never looked back. This is John's 5th win on the season. He will be racing at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday. Hope to see you there!
B-MOD
STARTED 6TH

14 B-mods rolled throught the gate on Friday. Dylan started 3rd and finished 3rd in the second heat race. That put him starting 6th in the feature. He drove a great race and was up to second when the #4 car hit Dylan's left rear and sent him into the front stretch wall. He pitted and the crew got the tire changed, but he had no power steering so he was out for the night.
They are only running A-mods and Latemodels at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday so Dylan will have the night off.
Allen scores at Humboldt
By Scott Lee Stewart (Humboldt, KS) — As the 2014 season progresses at Humboldt Speedway, the skill level of Pure Stock drivers continues to rise. Still a force to be reckoned with, Derrek Wilson finished runner up in the feature for a second week, this time being edged at the finish line by Mid Season points champ Wayne Johnson. Mike Churning finished third, Brandon Weide and Don McIntosh rounded out the top five.
Dustin Beisley rang up his first ever career feature victory in Friday’s USRA B-Mod feature. Beisley maintained remarkable poise as he skillfully held of runner up Lucas Issacs. Third place went to Brandon Jones. Blake Kisner was fourth, Tim VanGotten fifth.
John Allen was dominate in USRA Modified feature action, commanding the field for a full 20 laps. Jon Sheets was a strong runner up, USRA national points leader Jeremy Chambers was third. Chase Domer battled his way to fourth, Jim Body was fifth.
In USRA Stock Car feature action, Tyler James tracked down and passed Jeremy Wilson to take the win. With Wilson second, Patrick Kay finished third, followed by Ken Colston and Tyler Vincent
As an added attraction, the Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racers made their first appearance of the season at Humboldt; Donovan Trusler led wire to wire for the feature win. Veteran driver Allen Guthrie was runner up, Keith Simmons third, B.J. Paige fourth, and Tom Wade fifth.
Next week, the OCRS 360 Sprint cars pay a visit to Humboldt Speedway, along with all regular classes.
