30 modifeds were on hand for some red hot racing in Wheatland, MO on Thursday night.  John started 3rd in the first heat race and took the win over Kerry Davis #68 and Jason Pursley #38C.  That put him with enough passing points to start second row outside for the A main.  He took the lead more than once, but the car was skatey and he kept getting passed back.  It was a fun race with the top 3 running 3-wide for the most part.  Kerry Davis took the win with Tim Setzer #51 edging John for 2nd. 

John will be qualifying for the $5,000 to win race in Warrensburg, MO on Friday and the final race is Saturday.  Hope to see you there!

Wheatland, MO – The holiday weekend got started early with a Thursday night show at Lucas Oil Speedway. Kerry Davis made a trip from Parkville, MO down to Wheatland and came home a winner. Davis held off Tim Setzer and John Allen to take the USRA Modified Feature win. Tommy Cordray was the big winner on the night pocketing $1,000 for his ULMA Late Model Feature win. In the Factory Stock division it was Chip Shaddox securing the win and in the USRA B Mod A Main, Kris Jackson outran Logan Martin and Steve Muilenberg for the win.
