A SECOND PLACE KINDA WEEKEND

35 mods at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday.  John drew #96 and started 9th (dead last in the 2nd heat race).  The track wasn't real racey at this point and he had a hard time getting around it.  He ended up 5th.  That put him 14th in passing points.  He started 7th row outside in the A feature.  On the first start the front row got together and caused a yellow.  After that the race went green.  It was fun to watch John drive through the field of cars, but he needed one more yellow or a couple more laps to run down the leader, Tim Setzer. 

 

B-MODS

STARTED 10TH

FINISHED 11TH

39 b-mods were trying to grab the $500 to win race.  Dylan drew #1!  He fell back on the start, but was able to drive back up through there and finish 2nd!  In the A feature he started 10th.  At the first yellow he was still in 10th.  He fell back a little after that and was running about 13th when a car got up beside him and they both spun.  He restarted 17th and raced back up to finish 11th!

Right now both cars are planning to run Humboldt on Friday and John is going to race in Nevada on Saturday.  Hope to see you there!
