16 modifieds put on quite a show on Friday night at "The Hummer."  John started 5th in the second heat race.  He finished 2nd.  In the A feature John started second row inside.  On lap 5 he had wrestled second place from the 9d8 of Paden Phillips.  He then went to work on the leader, 48s of Travis Smith.  John went high and low, even tried a slide job, but Travis kept powering back to the lead.  John settled for second and Travis scored his fourth win at Humboldt Speedway of the year.

B-MOD

16 bmods also had quite a race on Friday night.  Dylan started 6th in the first heat race.  He finished 3rd with Jimmie Davis taking the win and Riley Whitworth second.  In the feature Dylan started third.  They had an awful start with the front row not going and several cars were shuffled back.  Dylan was one of them and fell back to about fifth.  He was able to keep the car straight and power back through to finish third.  Andy Bryant took the win.

We will be taking Saturday night off to prepare for Texas on Wednesday!  Hope to see you there!
