37 modifieds were gathered in Hutchinson, KS at the Kansas State Fairgrounds on Saturday.  John started 4th and won his heat race!  After passing points were figured he was 2nd!  He started on the front row outside, but the track was one lane and there was no passing.  John followed the train and the leader and settled for second.  Jon Thompson took the win from the pole.
