23 modifieds were divided into three heat races for the big money race in Nevada, MO.  John started on the front row of the second heat race.  He was well on his way to an easy win when the he killed the motor and spun while leading.  He had to start the heat race tailback and ended up finishing third.  That put him starting 8th in the A main.  The top 10 would lock in for Saturday night's big money show.  John again was runing up through the field when a car spun in front of him.  He stopped to avoid contact, the caution flag never flew, everyone passed him and John was running about 14th.  He mananged to get going again and finished 4th.  He will start 2nd row outside on Saturday for the big money!  Hope to see you there!
