23 cars showed up after the steady rain throughout the day.  John had to wait until 2am to run his feature, but for those who stuck around it was well worth the wait.  John shoot out in the lead on the start, but the 26 of Brian Williams was in hot pursuit right behind him.  It soon became apparent that Williams had the faster car.  Early in the race John came off of turn two in the middle of the track and Brian was able to sail around John and take the lead.  Then on the next circut John was able to get back by Brian because a lap car got in his way.  John did what he had to do for the remainder of the race to keep Williams at bay.  He took the win and the $2,000 back to Kansas for the second time this season.
