26 modifieds gathered in Kansas City, KS for championship night.  John started on the second row outside in the first heat race, he finished 2nd.  The car was not entering the corner well in hot laps, he changed some stuff and was then tight on the gas.  We have struggled at Lakeside all season and just cannot get the car comfortable.  It's not terrible, just not great.  In the feature John again started second row outside.  The beginning of the race saw many, many cautions.  John looked strong and was running second most of the first part of the race.  When the race finally went green John starting falling back, just couldn't get the car to turn.  We ended up 7th.
