RUNNER UP AT LUCAS OIL SPEEDWAY

28 modifieds made up four heat races for the $1,000 to win at Wheatland, MO on Saturday night.  John started 3rd in the 3rd heat race and finished 2nd to the #33.  In the feature John started 5th.  He had quite a time getting around teh 2J of Jason Russell and once he did the 8s of Jon Sheets was out quite a ways.  He managed to finish 2nd to Jon despite a broken left front A frame.

36 b mods were on hand for action as well.  Dylan started and finished 4th in the 3rd heat race.  The top 16 in passing points were qualified for the A main.  Dylan was #15 in passing points.  On the start Dylan dropped back to at least 21st, but managed to get back up to 15th by lap13 when the first yellow flag appeared.  In the last 7 laps he managed to make it up to finish 11th!

John is planning to do the same this coming weekend, Lakeside on Friday and Lucas Oil on Saturday.  Hope to see you there!
