25 modifieds gathered at Humboldt Speedway on Friday night under the USRA banner.  John started 5th in the first heat race and was only able to make it up to finish 3rd.  Some of the brake issues he was dealing with last Saturday were still bothering him.  In the featue John started 10th.  When we start that far back there are usually no yellows to help us out, but that was not the case this week.  On lap 5 the first caution came out and John was up to 6th.  Then again on lap 7 the yellow flag flew, John was 4th. During the latter part of the race the car declined.  He was up to third at one point, but fell back to finish 5th.  88d of Matt Dotson took the win.

John will be back in action on Saturday in Wheatland, MO at Lucas Oil Speedway.  Hope to see you there!
