John started dead last in the third and final heat race after drawing the biggest pill on Friday night. Eighteen USRA Modifieds made up the three heats of six cars each. John quickly raced to the front and finished 2nd. That put him second row inside for the A feature. He took the lead after only a handful of laps and never looked back. This is his 10th win of the 2013 season.

John will back racing at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, hope to see you there!

Allen scores USRA Modified win at Humboldt
By Scott L. Stewart (Humboldt, KS) — It appears that the only thing hotter than the weather right now is John Allen. For the third week in a row, the 2012 points champion in USRA Modifieds at Humboldt Speedway showed the rest of the field the quick way around the Humboldt high banks, once again winning the McCarthy Auto Group Modified A feature. 2013 Mid Season Champ Ryan McAninch kept both feet flat on the floor, but again was runner up. Travis Smith made a strong showing to finish third, Paden Phillips was fourth, and Tim Setzer fifth.
