DNF IN GRAIN VALLEY, MO

37 modifieds were on hand for the King of Kansas City Race in Grain Valley, MO.  John started 9th in his heat race and finished 6th.  That put him starting on the front row of his B feature.  He went on to win it.  That gave him the outside of the 7th row to start the A feature.  Sometimes when you start that far back you just can't get there.  The car was pretty good, but with all the yellows in the feature he kept getting ran into in the back and the car was torn up.  The tires were getting hot from the quarter panels rubbing on them.  So John just pulled in.  We still have 3 nights of racing left this weekend.  81 Speedway on Thurs, Humboldt Speedway on Friday and we will see if we decide to go to back to Grain Valley on Sat.  Hope to see you somewhere!
