26 modifieds at Humboldt Speedway for the afternoon race.  John started 2nd in the 2nd heat race and took the win by half a lap!  In the A feature John started front row outside.  He was 2nd on the start, but then fell back to 3rd.  With about 10 laps to go John was back in 2nd.  Then the top 2 cars starting lapping cars.  John made his move for the win, but couldn't get it done.  He had to settle for 2nd, the #52 of Ryan McAnnioch took the win.
