RUNNER UP IN NEVADA

Four heat races and only 19 cars competed for the $1,500 to win at Nevada Speedway on Saturday.  John started last in his heat race and finished 2nd.  That put him 6th in the A main.  It was a long night and rough track and John managed to wrestle the lead away from the 7jr of Jess Folk Jr with only 3 laps to go.  But the rough track would come into play as John's car pushed up and Folk was able to get by John to take the win at the finish line.
