There were 24 modifieds at Humboldt Speedway on Friday night and they ran a B feature for the first time this season.  John started 6th in the 2nd heat race.  He finished 3rd.

In the A feature John once again started 6th.  The first and only yellow flag flew at lap 15.  John was in 5th.  The yellow served him well as he rocketed to 3rd, in the final 5 laps he ran down 2nd place runner Jess Folk Jr.  A couple more laps or another yellow John would have finished 2nd for sure.  Johnny Bone Jr. managed to be the first repeat winner of the season.

John will be back at Humboldt Speedway to kick off the holiday weekend.  Saturday we will be racing at 81 Speedway in Park City, KS for the NCRA/USRA challenge race and Sun will be back at Humboldt on Sunday for the 5th Annual Dwaine Whitworth Memorial Race.
